Blueberry Superfood Smoothie

The less I have to think about, the better.

That sounds strange, so let me rephrase.

The more “routine” the basic parts of my life are, the better. This brings us to my morning smoothie.

I look forward to it. It’s brain food. It’s nourishing. It’s setting the tone for my day. I know I’m going to have it and I don’t have to think about what I’m going to eat for breakfast. The fewer decisions, the better.

Blueberries are packed full of antioxidants which are great for fighting free radicals. This helps combat aging and boosts immunity. They’re also low in sugar, anti-inflammatory, and there are cases shown where they can decrease our chances of heart disease, type two diabetes, and lower our risk for heart disease and cancer. Sold yet?

Blueberry Superfood Smoothie:

Eyeball Frozen Blueberries for Ease

1-2 Scoop of Your Favorite Protein Powder

1 Scoop Greens Balance

Probiotics/Prebiotics/Live Digestive Enzymes (I use Arbonne products)

Water (I fill to the line of blueberries, I go for a thick shake)

Blend
